Radford Art Walk Studio City

The Radford Art Walk in Studio City is a great little park near the Los Angeles River with free outdoor art to enjoy. Head over to Radford Avenue and Valleyheart Drive. Check out the Tim Burtonesque sculptures along this quarter-mile stretch, then head over to Ventura Boulevard nearby for lunch, coffee or whatever floats your boat.

The works were created by the late Studio City artist Karl Johnson and were crafted using wood, steel, ceramic, stone and even leather and glass. Johnson was known for creating the former Studio City Mosaic house. The mosaic house also feature tiled mosaic garden sculptures but has since been dismantled, sold-off and replaced by a regular home.

The Radford Art Walk opened in 2012 as a collaboration between nearby CBS Studio Center and the Studio City Beautification Association. The project received additional support from many neighborhood organizations including Studio City Neighborhood Council, Residents Association, Studio City Chamber of Commerce, Studio City Improvement Association and Friends of the Los Angeles River.
