Finding nature in Los Angeles is easier than you may think. Fryman Canyon is a popular spot for day hiking. With panoramic views of the San Fernando Valley, Fryman’s trails offer an easy-to-reach respite from the city life hustle. Some of the trails are pretty rugged and require a degree of sure-footedness, but anyone who can climb a staircase can hit these trails and set their own pace and distance.
Here is another video showing the “Rain Forest” section of the canyon, marked by its streams and tree canopy. There’s a lot of wildlife in this section, drawn by the water, including some pretty big snakes. Watch your step!
